Thomas Taylor a North Carolina native, got his love of
photography from his good friend James Cotton and his dad Andy Cotton. "We would
go on band trips in high school, and Andy and James always had a camera. Andy
would make awesome slide shows of the trips and show them at the annual band
banquet. I saw a picture of me "holding" the Epcot Center in my hand and I
thought ‘I want to be able to create that kind of picture.’" These images and
experiences were very inspiring to him and created a growing curiosity of how to
combine technology and art. This led him to start On Location Photography.
